The name MilleroftheWind was created many, many moons ago alongside a dear friend over a glass of wine and a deck of cards. It's my last name, playfully rearranged and reimagined, and has graciously served me well throughout the years. What you'll find among these pages is an original hodgepodge of artistic creations that reflect my vibrant journey. I love art and studied it formally, earning a BFA from university and later teaching art after earning a Master’s in Education. I now immerse myself in the joyful practice of creating—by no means do I consider myself a professional artist. Art is a muse on rainy days or during those precious moments when I need to zen out and escape the world in my tiny, cozy studio space.

I have since stepped away from teaching and shifted my career entirely, now serving my community in other fulfilling ways. Art has become more important to me now than ever; it provides me with the opportunity to remain true to my creative self, offering an outlet to process the complexities of the world, and it serves as a means to share my deep love of the sea through the beautiful elements I inevitably incorporate into my work.
